Does anyone know of any parking lots in South Bay to have a little fun in? I recently put in new sway bars on my car and I wanted to test them out a bit, but the track day I have planned isn't for another month and a half. I don't want to do anything too stupid on public roads, but in an empty, deserted parking lot, I wouldn't mind testing out the car a bit.

 

There is a good sized parking lot next to the end of the Torrance Airport runway located just in from the intersection of Skypark and Hawthorne in Torrance. On the weekends it is usually empty, but the local police sometimes use it for driver training themselves. Anyway, plenty of space, and that is where I learned how to drive stick shift, and where I've taught some others as well.

 

Hit up Palos Verdes Hills....just go straight down crenshaw towards PCH and beyond...I raped an I35 upthere once...

Yeah, nice place. I was there about 2 weeks ago at night teaching someone how to drive a stick. Just be carefully because there are cops that drives by there quite often.
