30K mile maintenance... any suggestions?
I'm approaching the big 30K mileage and need to get it serviced.
I searched old threads and most people were getting over $400 for their 30k service from the dealer. Looking at the maintenance list, the only intensive work is the fluid swap and maybe the assurance that you got it done by the dealer. That way, if anything goes wrong, I will be able to produce the receipt and get it fixed.
Do you so cal guys have any suggestions on which stealership you got your service done and for how much. It would be nice to know some fellow G35driver members' input rather than blindly heading off to the dealer. I would love to get any and all info on dealers in the OC/LA area as I am in both counties regularly for family/school/friends.
Along with my 30K service, I am gonna have the dealer fix the clicking sound that the rear axle is making and my drivers side speaker fades out when the CD changer is playing. I've looked over the infinitihelp.com instructions on the rear axle fix and plan to have a printed version and hand it to the technician just in case.
Let me know what you guys think....

I was quoted somewhere around $450 from Mission Viejo Infiinti and $300 from Cerritos. I looked it over and decided to do everything myself. Saved a bunch of money, plus I changed the tranny and differential oils to synthetic. Feels much better on the shifts.
Infinti of Torrance charged me a little over $450 and tried to tell me that there is no need to swap auto tranny fluid unless it looks burnt. I insisted for that money they do the flush. It still seemed pricey to me, but they are so darned close to my place I couldn't resist...
