Has anyone in OC been pull over for 8000K Lights?

I am looking to upgrade to 8000K HID. My only concerns are the cops in OC. Does anyone know whether they are pretty tough on this? I've seen the new BMW 6 series with nice blue lights.....and i think they ARE AT LEAST 6000k. any feedback? one last thing, does anyone know where's the best and cheapest place to buy them?
thanks....

You should be fine, I usually cruise around OC on my Wife's FX with 6000k headlights and 6000k Fogs, with both 4 hids on, it is bright as hell Btw, I've been getting my stuff from this seller below. Really cool guy.

I had them on for about 4-5mos. My co-worker has the Phillips 6k on his IS300, IMO, side by side not much of a difference. Only difference is I saved myself about 180ish :-)
