I've been bit by the golf bug... BAD!!!!

Aside from LPGA Certified Anthony(alagolfer), anyone else golf?

Maybe we'll have a golf-range meet.
Slap some ***** away.

There's a lot of golf ranges out there.
Suggestions to favorite ranges/courses are welcome.

My very first golf outing was about 4 months back at Marshall Canyon.
Then laid low for a month or so and have been really going at it for the past couple months.

So who else golfs?

 

I love to golf...when I can find the time. I'm fairly new here to the boards and would like to meet some of the other socal Gs as well as those that also like to play golf.

 

Hye Meechin...I saw you on the E 10 last Saturday around 9:30am-ish...I was the DG coupe with clear corners...I believe the other DG coupe had an oem spoiler...I saw your lic plate and said "that name sounds familiar." hehe Anyways, I would have given the head nod (the what's up nod) but its hard for me to look to the side and drive straight at the same time! Anyways, I hit up the golf course sometimes. Starting to get into it. But its hella expensive! But yeah, we should do the driving range thing!

yeah man, there's a weird smell of fertilizer from a landscaping place nearby. but, it's a two level driving range so if you're on the top level you can't smell it. i like the automatic teeing system. leaning over to put the ball on the tee can be a pain in the a$$ if you're hitting 100 *****.

 

Meechin - Mashall Canyon with the funky a$$ greens that no one can read. I used to play twice a month, but haven't played in two months or so. Out here in Chino (cow country), there are some decent and cheap courses like El Prado, Diamond Bar and Los Seranos. We should tie it into a Chino Hills meet.

 

I'm up for a little golf....or driving range.

 

driving range is good... actual game takes way too long...

 

I play and I can even read the greens at Marshall Canyon.

 

I am the man guys! Maybe I planted the seed in MEECHIN's head when I spotted him on the 10 going to work one morning (I was going to play Oak Quarry). I work part time at Scholl Canyon in Glendale as a golf instructor. I am in the PGA of America as an apprentice. I am working toward becoming a full member. I can get everyone deals and hook-ups for lessons, rounds and practice for bringing your business to our course. We have a lit driving range (till 10pm) and 18 hole executive course that winds through the hills and overlooks both LA and the valley. You can see the ocean on two sides on those rare days when the wind blows all the smog away.I play about 2-4 times a week and always need more players.

Maybe we can have a G35Driver cruise, golf tourny and poker all in one day! Anyway, PM me for anything golf...

 

Seeing the buzz that this thread has generated...
Let's post up (names)/(locations)/(grass or mats) of ranges and days people can be there.
I mean come on people, it's not like you just go out there once a week or month.
I hit the range at least 4 times a week and try to play courses as much as possible.

After we get names of ranges up and everyone gets a chance to brush the rust off their swing and clubs, we'll begin talking about making tee times and such.
