Sedan Exhuast System - TRADES????

I willing to trade my 2 day old Borla Cat Back Exhaust System for your USED AFTERMARKET midpipe + Y pipe!! I was told that this combo is quiter than the Borla. The Borla is too loud for me - if you are interested - let me know. I would definitely like to hear your exhaust system first before the trade. I know there must be a lot of people out there that are not satisfied with their current exhaust system and would like to try on something new - perhaps the Borla True Dual Cat Back System!!! Well - this is your chance!!!

You should wait about a week, the exhaust needs to wear in a bit - it will mellow out quite a bit. I have one and the first 5-7 days was loud and lots of drone. After about that first week, it got extremely better.

Also - about a week ago, I changed the tips, I just hate the Borla ones, and even more went away - I would say the car is now quieter than stock until you mash the gas. The Borla tips cause the resonating as well by how they are made. For about $100 - you can get a new set of tips, or have your stock ones put back on to resolve much of what your hearing.

Give it some time...I've made many exhaust changes and you do have to give the system a week or so to season.
Try that - you should be happy - but do give it some time to carbon up and wear in.

Borla=Performance

You're absolutely right - performance wise - the Borla kick-as*. I noticed a huge difference after 4000RPM. Plenum / MREV whatever - best performance mod - bang for buck - exhaust system - period.

6MT Brembo Coupe
I have the Borla and wish it was a little louder. I was thinking about trading for the Injen SES, but didn't want to mess with the fiberglass issue.

Back to me please

This is really cool - others are benefiting from this post. Just want to let people out there know - that I'm not just looking for full exhaust system trade - I might settle for just a Y-Pipe and middy. Just to be fair - mine is 2 days old - and I believe its resale value is $500. Hey I will even trade it for wheels and add $$$$ if someone have the 18 or 19in 2005 and up OEM wheels!!!
