My glove box light is on all the time. I can see the light coming out of the top where it meets the Navi unit box. Anyone else have this problem? WTF is wrong with my G!

The switch is probably defective just bring it to the dealer and they should fix it no charge.

 

I have 05 Coupe. My glove box light is on constantly when I turn the head lights. I didn't see the switch.

I've never heard anyone's G doing this, though.
Still, it should be a simple fix.

I noticed it too and I was thinking of what to do about it, but now I see that there really isnt much to do about it

 

There is no switch for the glove box light. Stupid engineers didn't think of one. You could on the other hand install one yourself.

 

in my 05 G the light is on when my headlights are on, i kno weird as **** right?

 

I already dealt with this problem. Took it into the dealership because it seemed my glovebox is a bit warped...they looked at other G's and said this seems to be somewhat normal...so what did they do? They cut a strip of felt lining and layed it near the edge...no more light.

By the way, it comes on with the headlights and off other wise. There is no switch.

Thanks all for the info. Since its 'normal' I guess I will just leave it. Kinda funny they didnt put switches for the glove and ashtray on a 35K car...
