My friend says I drive too much. I bought my G 11 months ago and I have 20,000 on it. How many miles do you guys put on your G?

6 months with the G and I have a lil less than 6K. Reason because I had a daily driver already but sold it in October.
If i still had the daily driver, i would of definately had about no more than 3K lol

I have just as many miles per year. I've given up trying to conserve the miles.
In california the blue book says average is 12k. I have a 2003 (first production run) and have 26k.
Do you have a lease? If so, at this rate be ready to shell out an another thousand or two for extra mileage.

Thankfully I dont lease, hate paying for miles. I would get a beater daily driver, but then I wouldnt be able to enjoy my G. Funny too cause I only live like 13 miles from one job and 7 from the other...

got my G June 6, 2005. so 7 months i've had it. i already have 8k on it. i'm actually in big doo doo cause its a lease, with only 10k a year
these darn miles just seriously come out of nowhere. you know these 2 miles here and there add up on me like crazy.

Its only too much if you're driving a car that you don't enjoy! Keep having fun! When I had my Honda Preludes I was putting 20K/yr EASILY! Its just a car, built to be driven. Enjoy it! You can always buy another! That makes it even more fun!

I agree with Brian!!! A car is to drive and not worry about mileage. I have 1st gen G35 built in 10/02 and i have 58K. I drive that sucker everywhere.

IMO if you lease the car (like i do), try to be conservative in the first year so that way, by the end of the lease you can actually drive it more often and not worry about mileage.
but if you bought the car to own, put as many miles as you can. get as many miles as you can, but also at the same time take care of the regular maintenance and what not.
