Blades appearing to NOT be moving is due to the camera's shutter speed.

They have those in Markham Park every once in a while, makes you wonder how much they spend trying to get that good.

Was into it for a while, repair and parts bill can be almost as much as a car payment.

I've watched Alan fly a few times. He's a great pilot! He practices every day, and it's pretty much all he thinks about. He flys real aircraft also, and is only 18 or so.

Heli's can be pretty expensive, but if you take your time, get some help from someone experienced, and get a good simulator for the computer, crashes can be kept to a minimum.

I haven't touched any of my heli's since buying my G in August. Alan actually bought a new car a few months ago. A mutual friend tried to talk him into a G after seeing mine, but he went with a SRT instead.

That boy is crazy!, yup, it's the real deal, so you know Alan Szabo? I wonder if he is going to the heli fun fly in vegas this February. Let's all head up there during that time for a meet! I just bought a Hummingbird v3, nice little creature, and I still have my Nexus which is just sitting and accumulating dust in my house.

Optional
Frame rate versus rotor speed equals strobe that makes it look like its fake.

I have met Alan, but don't know him. A lot of my flying buddies know him pretty good. He is a very nice kid, and will always take the time to help anyone who needs it. I'm sure he will be at the Vegas fun-fly, as that's where he lives.

Oh man, a Nexus 30 (I assume)? That was my first heli. I learned to hover with it, and then sold it and Bought a Raptor 30. The Raptor is much more reliable, and flies much better than the Nexus. I had a Hummingbird also, but sold it when it got boring. If it can't hover inverted or fly backwards, I don't want it

That would be cool if it crashed....but sad, and hard on the pocket, so not really...you really have to know what you are doing with this hobby...
