Just installed Tanabe Springs

Hello everyone.

After much research on what springs I wanted to go with, I decided to go with the Tanabe NF210’s on my ‘05 coupe. They claim to provide a 1-inch drop for both front and rear, but a spring rate only 5% above stock. I wanted a subtle drop with still being able to retain a ride as close to stock. The springs I was considering were the 350z Tein H-Tech's series or the Eibach prokit, but after riding in my friend’s G who had installed the NF210’s, I was sold.

I do have to say that the ride quality feel’s very close to stock, but I still have a few weeks for the springs to settle. I am still rolling on the OEM 18”, but soon will upgrade to a set 19” within the year. I have almost no fender gap, so it looks very clean.

I went to F1 Motorsports in North Hollywood, and thanks to Chris, I was totally satisfied with my buying experience. They were totally professional and gave me an excellent price.

I will post some pics once the springs have settled.

Sounds good. Let us know how much, if any, the camber is off by. If it is off, if it is correctable without a camber kit. Did you change the shocks as well?

After talking to Chirs at F1, no shock replacement was needed, at least for now.
As far as I can tell, the ride is very smooth very close to stock.

I am planning on getting my alignment about 3 weeks from now, after the springs have settled a bit. I will get a print out and post a scanned image so we can all see the how close the numbers are to stock. I am assuming that it won't get there, but I am hoping to be able to get it as close as I can.

i installed the same setup a few weeks ago, doesnt seem to need an alignment at all. car still goes in a perfectly straight line. the springs were on george's car before (phxblue) and i picked them up off him. i love the ride, and when its sitting parked, it looks much sleeker over the stock height
