anways, socal drivers are bad enough in dry weather conditions so you can imagine how much worse it gets when it starts getting wet. i was stuck behind a sig alert accident on the 60fwy for a few hours saturday night in the rain. probably for the same reason G354GOD mentioned - someone driving like an idiot in the rain. i couldn't really see if he/she was old or young but statistically speaking only about 7-8% of drivers over the age of 65 are involved in fatal/injury traffic collisions as opposed to 14-15% of drivers between the age of 20-24 and 10-11% for drivers between the age of 15-19.
sadly i'm in the 2nd highest percentile for fatal/injury collisions coming in at a whopping 20-23% chance for my age group. ironically the first time i've place in the top 2 percentile of anything.

I am not sticking up for this guy or anything, but how can you possibly go 100mph+ in traffic? It must not of been too bad because there is no where he could go if it was all congested...it must've been flowing at a decent speed... but idk. But the fact that he was going that fast it the rain is stupid, esp. since it hasnt rained here in a while - lots of oil on the roads, etc. And also don't worry about G35s looking bad because of him. Most people witnessing him, thinking hes an idiot, probably don't even know what a G35 is. Plus if you see an idiot in a porsche or something driving like that you dont think someone bad about all porsche drivers, just the one idiot, at least thats the way I see it.

I want all you SoCal guys on your best behavior now.
My wife and I are coming down to San Diego tomorrow morning to
board a cruise ship on Friday. I wouldn't want to get hit by a low
flying G35 when we pull out of the airport or anything.
Kidding, of course. (but will be keeping an eye out for nice G's )

and yes, those that witness it can normally tell what type of car it is (sports car/sedan/SUV) Thats all they need to know and before you know it, they classify all sports car drivers as idiots. and that includes those of us who drive G35's who don't drive like idiots (rain or not)

And what does (car/sedan/SUV) have to do with giving G35s bad names. And whether or not the average person on the roads witnesses this, insurance companies still know theres are sports cars.
Gerry, can you please enlighten me and help explain this response....??
