I thought the California regulates that there is no blue head lights, no BLUE lights, no other signal lights other than yellow...
my side marker is white/blue. but more white than blue. and they pull me over. and stated that "no car can have blue lights anywyere".
I saw stuff on clearcorner.com they have blue license plate lights.. if that is the case.. they wont even make those lights in california anymore... right?
So, do i really have to get rip off my white/blue side marker lights? or i should just complain it... cause i been driving for a long time and park next to police before... this is teh first time they pulled me over and gave me a warning.

As long as they didn't give you a fix-it ticket, I say leave it in. But be forewarned, they could ticket you for it if they wanted to. It would definately be **** if a cop pulled you over just for that alone. Pretty much everything not stock is illegal.
depends on the cop... was it raining? one of the reasons maybe the cop didnt want to write the ticket? lol
but yea, i'd say leave it, but if you have anything else illegal like tints, then might as well just get sum amber LEDS so the bulbs wont attract anymore attention...

A cop friend told me that cops will use stupid things like that as an excuse to pull you over and check you out.
He told me that I might get pulled over for my tints if the cop needs an excuse, but probably wont get a ticket cause its not worth their time. I'm in cali so tint isnt allowed in front.

Any modification to factory lighting is prohibited in this state. All lights must also be in good working order..
Most people who get rolled up for lighting violations is due to the officer just trying to see who/what is in the vehicle.

I am pretty sure that California's anti tint laws were urged by law enforcement soley for the purposes of being able to stop someone. For instance, if someone pulls up at a known drug location, stops, and goes in the house for a few minutes then comes out and drives away. That is not enough for the cop to stop the person. But if the person commits a VC violation...or if they have any illegal mods on their car, etc like the very common tinted windows, now the cop can use that as a pretense to stop the person. Of course the cop could not give a rats *** about the tinted window.
Anyway, Long Beach isn't the greatest neighborhood in the world. The police there use these pretenses to make lots of stops. It does not surprise me that they stopped you for such a minor thing.
I've been stopped before and told it was due to the tint. One time I got stopped by sherrifs and they flat out told me they wanted to see who I was.
