i got pull over because of side market lights?!?!?

but i was thinking... i brought the white/blue LED bult from the big store similar to pepboy. and they said its legal... i didnt buy it online or anything (some of illegal stuff only sell online).. so since they are selling in the market. the california should be regulated those already right? i mean.. they do regulate items when it get to california

CALIFORNIA LAW....
Side, Cowl, or Fender Lamps

25106. (a) Any motor vehicle may be equipped with lighted white or amber cowl or fender lamps on the front. Any vehicle may be equipped with not more than one amber side lamp on each side near the front, nor more than one red side lamp on each side near the rear. The light source of each such lamp shall not exceed four standard candlepower.

(b) Lamps meeting requirements established by the department for side-marker or combination clearance and side-marker lamps may be installed on the sides of vehicles at any location, but any lamp installed within 24 inches of the rear of the vehicle shall be red, and any lamp installed at any other location shall be amber.
Amended Ch. 723, Stats. 1979. Effective January 1, 1980

Wow, I'm shocked to hear that and I visit you in my G like every week... I'm gonna start avoiding the cops like the time I drove around with 1 yr old expired license tags Ne'ways, I'll take those lights off your hands if you don't want them anymore although I still think you should keep them on, it's only a warning so there's no harm done. When they give u a fix-it ticket, that's when you start to worry, oh yeah, sry for not picking up ur phone calls because I was in class
