yes that would be a good first mod for little performance boost. How many miles are on the G? You may want to clean up the inside of the plenum, throttle body and MAF sensor too while you're at it. it being a 2003 it could probably use a nice intake cleaning.

edit: also if you are still using the stock airbox, I'd drop in a K&N filter.

Just picked up an 04 G35c. Where are some meets in the L.A. area?

 

Kerry from Tustin. Got a great deal on an 03 G5 Coupe with only 53k miles on it. Looking for locals with experience to meet up with, learn from, and get tips from.

How hard is it to drop in a K&N and plenum spacer and what can I expect from the upgrade?

 

Is there anyone in the OC area that can help with a plenum installation? I watched the video and while it doesn't look hard there are quite a few steps and things need to be torqued down properly.
