handling of a turbo???!!!???? AWD 420hp (on the old model) the new 997 Turbo will killll a z06 on the twisties. hell id take the cayman S in the twisties over the z06!!!!!

ok let me chime in here...i dont think a cayman s would take the new z06 on the twisties..but a turbo, esp the new one thats coming out, will...the new turbo is f'in sickkkk...997 turbo>z06>cayman s...ey but its all subjective, i personally really like the new z06..chevys and basically all american cars were never my thing but this car is nuts so i have to give it its due...but in the end id stll take a turbo over a z06, but theyre both def crazy cars

In my opinion as of now the only carsthat are faster, handle better, than c6 z06 are Carrera GT, Enzo, Veyron. Cars that have similar perofrmance as the new z06 are 996 GT2, ferrari 430, ford GT, murcielago, meybe the new 997 turbo its still doesnt have any stats as far as performance.

 

the cayman S is supposed to outhandle the 997 Carrera S which is pretty damn good if im not mistaken. but the AWD turbo will kick its As$ like crazy. obviously the z06 is a beast and handling has improved, but porsche is known for their handling/braking etc. i mean carbon ceramic brakes?? you cant beat that sucker. i say even the 996 will win in twisites. that car is a beast. oh yea do an ecu reflash on a turbo, it will go insane

The z06 is a sick car...best bang for your buck too. It runs 3.9 on the 0-60...that means it'll smoke some Ferrari's, porsches, etc...

Go to the porsche website and look at pics of the new 911 Turbo....you'll jizz in your pants...it runs 3.7s manual or 3.4s with tiptronic

P.S. The GT is rated 3.9s 0-60 which isn't making much sense to me but oh well....I can't afford it anyways.
