Yes, you can go to traffic school....

It's 18 months inbetween violations in which you cleared WITH traffic school. If you didn't go to traffic school last time, then your last ticket in 04 is on record and was never cleared....so you are good to go this time for traffic school lucky guy.

I am kinda in the same boat. It takes about 2 weeks for your ticket to show up in the L.A. superior court website. You should be able to take traffic school for it. In December,i got a $700 ticket for going 110 mph and 2 points :/ I just got another ticket a couple weeks ago, which I was only going 75mph in a 65 for, but the cop was a young, ticket-happy *******. So now I have to do the traffic school deal, pay a fine, and be extra precautious. You cannot get 4 points within a year, or you get your license suspended. Yea....California sucks ***. I can get as many tickets as I want in Nevada and my lawyer gets them reduced to parking tickets with no points.

 

dude, may of last year, i got a ticket on the fwy. cop said i was doing 90+. luckily, i was able to pay the fines and do traffic school. it never hit insurance or dmv record. you'll be cool man. just do the traffic school. i highly recommend. http://www.webtrafficschool.com/
