I dont think CHP has lasers yet. I get K or KA all the time. I get random laser warnings sometimes when there is no one around. The only thing I can think of is some airplane or satelite etc. WTF is causing these warnings??

If you guys are getting the laser warning and don't know whats causing it. I know here in Fl the Fire Deparment vehicles also emmitt laser signas when they have their lights on, or the siren too. Hey after all thats what the radar dectector is for, so we can be warn of the dangers ahead on the road =)

Hey, would the newer lux cars with the laser guided cruise control effect the laser detector? That would be funny, if your detector kept going off because the FX45 behind you had his cruise control locked on your car.

Laser is VERY common in affluent areas like Newport Beach and Irvine.
City cops use it on open roads.
As for Ray's question about laser-guided cruise control triggering off a Laser Detector, the answer is yes.
I've had mine go off a few times and it was a false alarm.
Still slammed the fugg out of ma brakes.
LOL.
