Oem or true generally does boil down to what people want/prefer. That does not mean it's thought out or the implication's actually researched. Short of a handfull of prepped race cars I can count on one hand in Japan, no Z or G owner has or could do the modification's that make a truecoilover a non issue. I don't and will not run that type of setup for a reason.

IMO I see some parts selling for too cheap, some people get used to that and expect it. 675 isn't bad. If you're in CA you're gonna pay taxes even though its 8 something shipped so youre looking at roughly 950 bucks. 675 is roughly 30% off which seems quite reasonable. Doesn't have to be half off just because it's used or because someone else may be sellin for less.

Also, OEM vs true....with an OEM style coilover setup there is less stress on the shock since you have a spring in the spring bucket. Only advantage I can think of for true coilovers is the use of toe arms, which would replace the spring bucket. A drawback is if you get UAS bags, you're going to need to custom make an adjustable spring bucket since the bags mount where the spring bucket is.

GLWS.

OP you really need a picture with a piece of paper with your name on it next to these. Whether it's a shot of the upper mount in your engine bay where the dampener adjustment **** is or whether you jack up the car and take one of them in the fender well... You have zero feedback and very few posts and I'm surprised this isn't closed already. I got jacked for about this same amount of money by a guy on ebay for some F&F's when I was looking to replace my older version F&F's and for all I know you could be the same cat...

Not trying to jack your thread, but there's way too many con games getting played these days.

It truly doesn't matter for over 99% of the owners on this forum or almost any other "sporty" type car. The fact is almost nobody drives their car seriously enough, most likely including yourself, for it to make any difference what so ever. For anyone looking on here who doesn't already for sure know they want true style it literally makes absolutely no difference. Just the fact that someone asks what the difference is means they have no necessity for a true over oem style. But this isn't what the thread is for so you can run true's if you like believing they are necessary and that's fine but let's end this pointless discussion and let this thread get back to the topic of the op's sale.
