what springs did you end up going with to go lower? i am stuck in the same boat, i have the 350z s techs and they are not nearly low enough, especially in the front

 

350z H&R springs. It got rid of the gaps front and back. I had to damn near cut all of the springmount in the rear. Just enough to have a barrier between the spring and body.
I would love to go lower but I have dspecs, didnt want to fork out a G for coilovers and any lower wouldnt be practical for daily driving.
