FS: VRT (RA) Style Strut Tower Brace

VRT (RA) Style Strut Tower Brace
ASKING $100 SHIPPED! (Retail cost $450 new)
This is an original VRT strut tower brace that is made of chromoly steel and is much stiffer than anything else on the market. It braces the front suspension in two planes and results in a remarkable difference in front end handling. There is no chassis stiffening strut bar available as strong as this.
This is from my G35 coupe. Couple things to note:
1. This really requires a JWT pop charger for installation (or cold air intake or JWT TT kit). It is incompatible with a stock airbox.
2. There may be minor modification to the power steering bracket on the passenger side required.
3. All hardware is included, but please be aware that the triangulated nature of the bracket requires replacing one of the front shock bolts with a longer one. That means you must be able to lift the car, remove the front wheels, remove a bolt, put the new one in.
4. The powder coat is pretty much intact but there are a few rub spots and flaking over time. I had the "VRT" logo removed. There was a "Forged Performance" logo after that, now also removed.
5. This strut bar fits the JWT TT turbo kit. It was shaved at one spot (see last pic) to increase clearance with the charge pipe by Forged Performance.
