WTB: BC BR coilovers N e e d e d
Hey all, I’ve done a lot of chassis braces, sway bars, fully replaced all bushings to urethane with solid subframe (collar) set. Since doing so, as I figured, I lost the kind of “grand touring”-like charm but increased the handling ability dramatically...
Unfortunately, now my daily driver is riding a bit rough when compared to my lease vehicle, a 2014.5 Lexus GS 350 (RWD) sport. Now most of us will chuckle and say “yeah, no s--t” in our heads reading this. If you have not ever driven a ’15 GS 350 sport and you have some free time on your hands, I suggest you wrap them around the leather steering wheel of one of these GS sports. Place the kn-b dial to Sport Mode, and find a backroad. This car is precise, stable, poised, neutral with amazing driver feedback. A total wolf in sheep’s clothing and as much if not more fun than an older Miata, despite the extra doors and added curb weight.
Now back to my search for some good coilovers for my modified N/A *’sides a little nitrous but it wont hook up since I traded the 3.54s for the new Tomei 3.9s in first or second and I drive a 5AT that’ll run out of most stock’ish V8s lives* (main mods in my sig’) 2003 G35 coupe.
So I have fun and it pulls like a champion. Heck, it better for all the $$$ I’ve thrown into it for 12 secs or less in the ¼.
With all of the stiffness in the braces, bars, arms, and urethane conversion she has just lost that premium, high end, smooth stability and sharp steering yet forgiving during spirited driving. When I was younger and in the USMC (MARSOC Recon), I had a 2006 GTO with BC BR coilovers and it was the single best muscle car and mod I ever bought. Now that I am still enjoying my lil project G35c, I really hope some of you all fellow G drivers out there will know of, have, or could help me find what I am looking for as far as BC BRs or something used comparable. Thanks for taking the time to read this and put up with the detail I use. PM me with any leads, max I can do for all 4 is $460.
