i will be starting my sophmore year there and i like it they are definitely fixing it up but parking is hell and living there would be nice if it was in a better part of town i take all my classed during the day and no night classes cause at night it is not safe in the parking lot by the stadium too many people getting robbed but other than the bad area the school is great i love it

UH is a really good University as far as the degrees & programs available. Im a Senior Finance major and Im happy with the experience so far. Its not your typical college experience, 90% of students don't have mommy and daddy paying for everything. So, most students work and don't hang around school after class which is unfortunate. 30,000+ students only 2,000+ beds on campus in a nutshell explains the college experience part. Parking...pay the extra for the garage permit, very much worth it and plus there are about 7+ g's in there at any time.

UH alum, c/o 2005. Its a great school, the education is just as good as UT or A&M. The only thing lacking is the brand name recognition, but the new president is changing that. Now only if we could get out of Conference USA and into a BCS conf.....Loved every minute of my time there, so much so that I go back every semester as a recruiter for my company, the eye candy has only gotten better with time =)

How about them COOOOGS!

Speaking of UH...How about the win over OK State on Saturday. Definitely the biggest win for UH in 25 years! Sure makes you proud of your school when your football team does good things, I guess its a little, tiny, minuscule taste of what it would've been like to be at UT with Vince Young. No G's at UH? Well there or more than a few stock but you should see me rollin, I'm there in my black on black G
