depends on what course you are taking, if you are taking engineering then U of H is one of the best but also one of the hardest. there is always stuff to do in houston

well i work with a bunch electrical engineers and one whos taking classes now and they all tell me of this triangle of hell, which you would be taking three classes that more than 75% of people who take it fail. and i get co ops who have taken another class three times and still can't pass it. read up on their engineering courses before you decide your major. they say maybe 5 to 10% of the starting class gets their degree.

It’s a good school depending on what your majoring in. I have lot of friends that go there. One of the biggest downfalls about the school I think is that it’s a commuter school. You’re not really going to get the "College" experience that you would get at somewhere like A&M or UT. But it’s a good school, and Houston has a lot to offer. If you end up going there let me know cus I know a lot of people there and will introduce you to them.

Will be starting my junior year there studying biology. It's a lot of fun. I spend a lot of time on campus at the library or at the recreation center.
The rec center is probably the nicest gym in the city of Houston.
Definitely go there and get your money's worth since you pay for it in your tuition whether you want to or not.

In the University Center there's a lot of food places, an arcade, movie theater, and bowling alley.

I graduated from U of H with a Bachelor's in M.I.S and it's a good school. I worked with several graduates from the College of Engineering as well. Certainly has more ammenities now than when I was there.

UH is a bad *** school in my opinion...and it also depends on what your majoring in.
The only bad side about the campus is that its around a ghetto *** neighborhood...so watch out for G cuz mine got broken into =/

You'd think so. My brother's car got broken into in broad daylight while he was parked in the new parking garage. I personally think the school is decent, I got my undergrad in business there and my MBA as well. I hated commuting though. I do think it's underrated though.
