I still might try and come out to meet some of ya'll if you promise to not laugh at my korean princess haha
Man that sux. I know the feeling on having to wait for your G to be fixed. But hey come out anyways and hang out. We won't make fun of the KIA......MUCH...

How come they gave you a Kia for a rental instead of an infiniti?

my car is at Sewell Infiniti right now so far so good. I had made an appointment 3 days pryer of me dropping my car off. Im driving an 09' G37 sedan right now as a loaner and i had no issue getting 1 from them. I dropped my car off there last week on friday and my service guy has called me a couple of times. they are looking at my gas tank, brake VDC slip light, cd, and sunroof. hopefuly they will get my car back on the road soon. the service guy said im in the loaner till i get my car back.

Well i've got the kia through my insurance company. West Houston pulls the loaner when you get insurance involved. Apparently they've had problems with insurance companies taking forever, and they have a loaner out for two weeks which they cant afford. I half see their point, but its no longer the insurance company holding things up (check came in the mail friday, so they are out of the equation aside from my loaner), so i wish they would switch me back into the G, especially cause of the rediculous waiting time on one part, even if it isnt their fault. I could have gotten something nicer than the kia as well, but I wasnt expecting to be in this car for more than a week tops when i picked it and I'm trying to make this whole situation as inexpensive as possible

Frank are you over 25? Thats the only reason I couldnt get one, which i still maintain thats rediculous since all 3 of the other dealerships in the area will give you a loaner. My biggest beef with them is they dont have a courtsey shuttle. I've never heard of another dealership that didnt have one, so unless i want to drag a friend all the way out there to shuttle me to work that dealership isnt an option for me. i might re-evaluate that in a year when i am "of age"

Yes i am older then 25. When i pulled in to the dealer the 1st time it seems that i had to go inside to some1 to ask me if i needed help. they seem to think that if u r not an older person that u have no buiness being there. if sewell doesnt correct eveything that needed to get fixed im going to take it to a differnt dealer.

Finally going to pick up my G35 today after replacing all the wrecked components, 2-year checkup, and a fresh detail (I figured I owed it to her after damaging her). Goodbye POS Kia!!! Now I'm just hoping it doesnt rain on the fresh detail

well i finally got my car back yetserday it was at Sewell Infiniti for a total of 4 1/2 weeks for a new sunroof track and a new sending unit in the gas tank. I picked it up and they did not fix my cd player. i took the car home that they and they came to pick my up 2 days later from my job and dropped me off another loaner. bout 4 days later i went and got my car and everything is working fine. so i got 2 free car washes and bout $3,700 worth of parts and labor to make it back to normal. thankfully all i had to pay was $346.00 for all that it was covered by extended warranty
