So how about that weather?

Anyone else's car get all squirrelly today in the rain or was it just me? This is my first RWD car and I found that I had to fight my car to keep it safely in the lane. Any minor puddle and the car felt like it just wanted to let go so I found myself going 45 in the right lane. Lane changes were a bit worrisome as well. Maybe it's my tires (Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus)? Anyone else have this problem? I drove a friend's NA MK4 Supra a while back when it rained a bit, and it didn't wanna kick itself around; it stayed pretty planted.

that sucks to hear. You guys weren't in the G were you?

So it turns out my rear tires have massively terrible camber wear on them from the previous owner, so they're pretty much bald. Now I have to shell out $600 for a pair of Michelin Pilot Sports A/S Plus to match the fronts. FML. There goes the money for the double din I wanted. bleh. Anyone have hook-up on tires?

flip the tires maybe?

so the worn part is on the outside, probably not the brightest thing to do

it does, you have to go have a shop physically switch the tires from rim to rim (autocheck does mounting/balancing for $14 a wheel - best deal i've found)

Seems like y'all are having a lot of trouble with roads in Houston. It's been raining just as much here (the storms pass through here before they hit Houston) but I haven't noticed any sliding or anything. I've got some meaty Potenza's on there and they stick just fine in the rain (even on some of the spaghetti roads that I love Austin so much for), knock on wood....

The actually weather though I love, so glad it's not in the 90s anymore. And we all desperately need the water, Lake Travis has been below 50% for awhile now - they're finding all sorts of sunken "treasure" that used to be at the bottom. Loving the temperature!!!
