how good of a deal? cuz what you can always do is design like a 4x6 flier on MS paint or photoshop, lay it out so that 4 can fit on a regular 8x11.5 sheet of paper, host it up, and just let people print, cut, and pass them out. I don't think you can get more cheaper than that. lol

true that it doesn't make us look serious, but the general idea is to get the word out to recruit more members. But like I said, if you can get like 2938457932845792834 cards for dirt cheap, then all the more power to ya! However, with the printable design, people don't have to worry about having to meet up with you or whomever to pick up more cards to pass out once they run out instead of printing them out in the convenience of their own home, library, school computer lab, etc. lol I guess all I'm saying is that it's just a matter of convenience I suppose.

i think we should just make black and white paper pamplets that someone could make on power point and then go down to the 1 cent copy place and print 100 copies, fold them in half and put them on pplz windsheids....

Speak for yourself! I'm no nerd, i'm a geek!

lilboi1900, that actually looks pretty good, albeit wordy. I agree with the comment on the darkness though. This is the only time we can make an impression, so it's got to have info that'll make the "recruit" want to come and check us out. But big kudos for starting it!

I'll try to make a couple of options as well and present it to y'all.

Are we starting a cult?!

Is it really necessary to go out and recruit people? I think word of mouth and seeing the stickers will help get the name out if that is your goal - but honestly what is the ultimate goal here with the recruiting effort - to have a huge club?

I like hanging out and shooting the **** with the people who show up - i'm not sure i want any part in actively pursuing and recruiting people...

maybe i am in the minority, just my thoughts... i do think the card looks good - but agree about the wordiness.

I like the idea of "spotted" cards. IMO it's not to try to stick one on every G you see out there, we've all seen lots of them that we laugh at. But we've also seen lots of them that we really like and can tell the owner is a true enthusiast like we are. Nobody should/will have to recruit anyone. But if you want to, I like the idea of having them available.

I don't like the idea of flyers. I hate finding a flyer on my car and always throw them away without looking at them out of principle. But if I found a professional looking attractive business card, I'll take it more seriously. I think we can need to work on the wording on the back a bit. The front is perfect because it catches your attention.
