You can just buy some aluminum polish from a local drugstore and see how that turns out...

Richie,

Thank you for the quick delivery. The fit and finish of the bar is excellent. The installation was a snap. Haven't had an opportunity to road test the strut bar, yet. However, there is a definite improvement over body flex, as I make my daily drive into downtown San Francisco, which is filled with bumps and dips. Thank you!

anybody ponder it yet??

The only thing I will be weary about and will try to make a point to watch out for would be rust from oxidation and chemical reaction at the point of contact between the aluminum bar ends and the stainless steel brackets due to dissimilar metals..... I'm thinking of applying some lithium grease or teflon chain lubricant on the bolt thread and the contact surfaces just so there's a something there to mitigate if not totally prevent such a thing from happening (Maybe some anti-seize stuff used for spark plugs or wheel lugnuts). Besides that, I look forward to putting the thing on and put it to good use... I'll be driving the G on a daily basis now that I'm gonna give/sell my beater corolla 5spd to my little sister....

Too bad the STB isn't as cheap (in price) as the one I got for my previous 6spd maxima...

There should not be any issues with the stainless brackets and the aluminum bar.

There is a nice looking bar hiding under that dull finish.

I spent about 2 hrs with some metal polish and it came out great!!!!

More pics in Reviews section.
