PAVELPG: stillen rear strut bar --> a little stiffer rear end, but keep in mind that you'll also be cutting into half of your trunk space

No rear strut bar from me...
N.O.P.E.

Nope, nobody's making one for the damn sedan yet. God... companies must hate sedan drivers....

Stillen is selling some POS sways and that's about it... no strut. Even if Stillen is selling the sttuts, I wouldn' want to buy their rebadged POS products.

Try to get a custom strut built by a welding shop. Having it being removable will cost a bit more since they will have to make brackets and bolt holes. Sure it won't look fancy, but it'll probably do the job better.

I actually have mounts that will work for the sedan but the bar needs to be fabricated...

Let me clarify, it won't fit the NEW sedan...but it fits the 03-06 sedans.

Has anyone installed this without damaging the engine cover AND hood liner??? Just curious since no one seems to elaborate on the hood liner part...

I did not damage the engine cover, since I took it off ages ago. So I guess that's an N/A to that question. I did not damage the hood liner during installation either (not sure how you would ). I didn't damage anything at all, in fact, and don't see how you can damage anything installing this thing. If you think you will cause damage to your car installing a front strut bar then I recommend doing it with a buddy who knows how to. However, I did have to take the hood liner off. Details below:

Mine is all the way down on the brackets and the brackets are as wide as they can go on the struts and the bar still rubs the hood a bit, even w/o the hood liner on. With the hood liner, if the hood is closed it's bent a bit and the hood/side panel seam is higher where the bar is.

Not sure if my case is an isolated one or not. I also had to jack the car up to get the pressure off the struts in order to fit the bar in between the brackets. Without jacking the car up, the bar was a bit too long by about 1/8 of an inch in terms of length from strut to strut. It's not all that bad; at least I know the bar is doing its job when it's nice and tight in the brackets.

Slightly disappointed with the fit, but have not gone back to make sure I can't adjust the bar any lower (although it was as low as it could go and the brackets were as wide as possible when installed).

Performance is excellent though. Waiting on my GTSpec lower chassis bars and perhaps getting a Stillen rear strut support for the back. I wish Richie made rear strut bar.

I give this mod an overall B+. When I go back to it and see if I can get it to somehow fit better and it ends up fitting perfect, I would give it an A. It's definitely stiffer in the front and works great with my Hotchkis sways set to max stiffness. Now I just need to tighten up the rest of the body, because you can really feel the front being tight compared to the back now. Or maybe I'm just imagining things.
