^^^^^ Did you buy your 04 coupe used? I noticed the front air duct was pretty bent outta shape. Maybe there was some front end damage? Usually that's the main reason for the strut bars not fitting properly. At least from what I have seen from others who have had problems.

If it was ever in an accident it might cause your problems. You might have to cut or modify the strut bar to work due to front end damage. But I will let Richie or others voice their opinions as well.

Hey Blak, sorry for the late response.... been out since Friday night.

Thanks for chiming in Rhino!

I was going to say the same thing....most people have no problems with clearance and the hood closing. But some have the same problem as yourself and they have had some kind of front end damage before.

You can drill out that corner on the mount a bit so the bar can sit flatter.

Way to go! Hope I was a little help.

I would recommend you take some pics of your modifications as well as end result and post them on this thread to help others who might have a problem with fitment. Again, well done blAk and a bump for a nice strut bar.

I had to elongate the holes some since the bar was hitting the top hood liner. I had no previous accidents. Here is the result.. Nice fit and looks great.
