meh, the z06 just needs a supercharger and a bodykit and it will be the same car lol. The GT-R will still be faster on the track and to 60 and it will have a full back seat and good luggage space lol

you're probably right, but people never give the Z06 credit, the specs on it are that it does .98 lateral G's on the skidpad. Just to give you a comparison of what that means, a 93 RX-7 only does .93, and the RX-7 is widely accepted as the best handling Japanese car ever made.
Z06 is the only American car that goes fast straight and sideways, why do you guys think they're so popular as race cars.
oh and I left the GT40 out of this, that thing handles over 1g easily but thats a whole other class in my opinion

 

I just saw a GT40 a couple hours ago on the freeway...that car is just feakin awesome...it was silver w black racing stripes

 

The GTR has 2 less cylinders, 2 more seats, alsmost 200 less horsepower, and the extra weight of AWD, and its still just as fast, and probably cheaper. The GTR is going to be one of the best "bang for the buck" cars.

ive always respected the vette. its the only american car id think about owning. that being said, with the gt-r in the same price range i wouldnt even think twice about the corvette now. i get 2 more seats and a interior that doesnt look like a cavalier? count me in.
