Alright so my bumper just came in today. I am going to take it to the paint shop hopefully this weekend. You think I should have them install it after they paint it or try and do it myself.

 

Let them install it, so that they can make sure it will fit perfectly. Is it fiberglass or poly?

 

It is fiberglass. He quoted like 500 for paint and instillation over the phone. You think that is a lot or you think I can talk him down some when I get there.

 

If you go there to have them do it, they have you. I would try to talk them down before you go in. I paid $300 to have my bumper painted and that was with a friend's shop. I think 400-500 is typical.

As for the other question, have them install it too, that way they can test fit and make any minor mods before it is painted.
