Well, when I traded in my G35 Sedan for a Mazda 3s Grand Touring 5 door, it chomped not having power. Using regular fuel kept the car down. Now that I switched to prem, the car does take MUCH quicker then using regular. If the price of gas starts going back up, I will drop back down to regular fuel.

At the Valero I use in San Antonio, the gas was $3.50/$3.60/$3.70, so, I topped it off with Sup. since I was in the area. The Shell station, across the street from where I live, is selling sup gas for over $3.95/gal. That is the bad thing about living in the north area of San Antonio.

I got premium for 3.42 the other day at Kroger (290/Spring Cypress) with the 10 cent discount. Not too bad.

Darn. I miss not having Kroger stores in San Antonio. All we get are HEB or Wal*Marts.

Well, I was in Corpus Christi this weekend and Exxon was selling gas at:

$3.50 - Reg
$3.60 - Med
$3.70 - Prem

This location was across the street from the Citgo refinery. Now, there was a Valero station by this location, well, Valero stations are all over the place in San Antonio, Corpus Christi and the whole Rio Grande Valley, that was charging

$3.45 - Reg
$3.55 - Med
$3.65 - Prem

I, myself, would pay a few more cents to get better premium fuel for my vehicle.

Uh, since Ike hit your part of the Houston area hard, I bet there is very small amount of fuel available. I hope all of your things are fine. That also means everyone along the Gulf of Mexico that Ike hit.

Today, I found a Shell station, 7150 San Pedro, San Antonio, TX that was charging:

$3.58/Regular
$3.70/Plus
$3.80/Supreme

I'm not sure if gas prices have gone up in your areas.

WOW!! Good thing I'm moving down to deep south Texas on Friday. Gas, regular, is $2.77 at a Wal*Mart store (Murphy Oil). By Friday, when I arrive down there for a drug test, gas might be even cheaper. One nice thing about gas down in the valley, they only charge $.10 more for up grades on fuel unlike Houston and San Antonio.

I know Texas City got hit hard by Ike. Also, I know everyone in the US is waiting for the gas prices to fall quickly.

Yeppers. San Antonio kinda sucks. I can't even get a job in this "town". I'm over qualified for everything I've applied for. Also, the state wanted me to back away from going to class at ITT, so, I signed up for San Antonio College. I signed up, and paid for, three classes. I will get a degree in networking, however, I had to withdraw from SAC due to thier massive mistakes. I showed up, on the first day, a few hours early so I could find my way around the campus. The 1st instructor I spoke to was the person who was going to teach my classes. She advised me that all three of my classes were cancelled. I'm like what tha? She goes, did anyone inform you? I'm like, uh NO. Why do you think I'm here? From there, SAC kept making mistake after mistake, so, I cancelled all three of the classes. They only wanted to refund me 70%. I'm like, heck no. None of this what my fault. Then, they said I had to see the VP of the school. Well, I went to thier office and wrote a full page story about every mistake SAC did and that I'm to get a 100% rebate, even all the books I bought which cost me well over $400.00. Needless to say, I got 100% back on everything.

Now, as to where I will be working at down south, I will tell you some time next week after I have started. You will like this one.

BTW - I hope nothing happened at your place in SW Houston (Ike).
