I just got my Rims in and as soon as I get my Tires I would like to know who in the Houston Area, Perferably in the SE or West Hiem area where I can get my Rims mounted. Also, if any of you know of a place, will they be able to take my TPMS out of my Stockers and put them into the new rims and tires? One more thing, does anyone know of a place where they lower my car? LTB Eibach prokit springs for my Sedan.

 

Discount tire does a great job with rims and tires.

 

Yeah, they did great with mine. they have the "touch-less" mounting machines and are careful not to scratch them. Just watch the "socket jockeys", they will scratch your rims. Make sure they put the lugs on and torque by hand.

 

^^ Lol "socket jockeys" but yeah he is right, I told one guy at dsct. tire to torque by hand and when I wasn't looking another "jockey" got on em' and nicked the flip out of my brand new Rays nuts on one wheel only though cause I caught him in action and he did the rest by hand. Anyhow dsct. is replacing w/ new set so its all good! Also replacing VR center cap that cracked while popping out on machine,so you do need to watch over them.

 

Well that's not very assuring, lol, when I get my tires I guess I'm going to have to be vigilant when I'm ready to get my rims mounted.

 

discount almost destoyed my is250 wheels. i made them refinish them...took my wheels & tires to NTB & slipped the guy 40 bucks to mount the tires & i put the wheels on when i got home. so if they got scratched it would be my fault. Carboy on Bissonnet is a good place to have your car lowered.

Discount Tire FTL. The only place i trust is Tire Max. They are also cheaper than Discount and the mounting machine has rubber cushion on the mounting points.
