Need a Houston area 1st gen. A/T G35 Coupe or Sedan for R&D
Hello fellow G enthusiasts!
Some of you may know me from the sister site myg37.com as the grounding kit king. Well, at least one of them.
This started as me making a custom grounding kit for my own beloved G37. Then a few for my friends. It snowballed into the business that is now Betty's Garage. I'm currently getting requests to make my grounding kits for 1st generation G35 Coupes and Sedans. Although this was never my intent, I am looking into producing them for this application as several members of this forum and elsewhere want me to make them.
What I need initially is about 20 to 30 minutes with your car to poke around under the hood and take a few photos and measurements. Later I'll need about another half hour to test fit and if I've done it right the first time, install the kit. I'll want to get photos of your engine bay as well so it needs to be clean. It doesn't matter what mods you have, just a clean engine bay.
In return you'll receive the pride of helping me and your community. And a free grounding kit in the size and color of your choice. Since I live in Baytown and work in Pasadena/La Porte area, the east side of Houston is a bonus. It can be done at your location or mine.
Here's a link to my thread on myg37.com where there's a Q&A you can have a look at the kits for the G37.
If you have interest, contact me via PM here or on myg37.com, or email me at bettysgarage@earthlink.net. Thanks.

Thanks!
Thanks to JDMxBALLER22 and kalikiddo for allowing me to use their rides as guinea pigs for measurements to fabricate Betty's Garage grounding kits for the 1st Gen. G35 coupes and sedans.
I'll get to work this week on making kits to fit the Original G cars and spread the love to more than just G37s.

I got excited about this project yesterday after meeting you guys and getting measurements. I couldn't sleep so at about 04:00 last night this was born.
A few shots of the first 8 AWG prototype. Ready to test fit later this week.

Grounding from the battery to chassis and throttle body, and chassis to engine on both sides.

It was real nice meeting you and meeting a fellow member to the forum.
I am glad I was able to help out. It was nice talking to a person who knows about a G.
Well hope the kit comes out well and helps us all out. It looks real good.
I will be working on my car again...same place on Sat. to fix what we talked about and put on some more goodies...lol.
Well you can hit me up whenever you like.

Thanks JDMxBALLER22 for being the guinea pig for the G35 community on these. I'm looking forward to seeing how you feel about it once you've had a few days to check it out.
Kalikiddo, I'll be in touch with you this week to see when's a good time for me to get yours on. If I don't get a hold of you, give me a call to set it up.
