Who knows where to buy light for clock in Houston?

Sorry I searched but cannot find it. I came across a post a while back and someone mentioned you can buy the bulbs for the clock in Houston, somewhere on Fondren street.

Please let me know if you do. Thanks!!

Actually, I bought the 30% brighter LED bulbs from autoillumination but after 4 months of use, they failed. I contacted them (Tracy) and they claimed that they have had zero problems with the LED bulbs and that it must be the car's voltage or electrical system causing a premature failure. She may be right but I haven't heard any complaints from users in this forum who bought from them, with the same car.

Anyway, the dealership charges around $10/bulb (I bought from the dealer before) but I read a thread in this forum and someone mentioned that you can buy them in Houston, TX for only like 0.50 cents each...I cannot find that Houston info anymore...

Thanks...

I bought Grain of Wheat bulbs from Fry's when I replaced mine. Much cheaper than dealer, you just need to strip the wire yourself.

Yes, buying the those bulbs at Fry's is a very cheap alternative and I read a diy on that before. However, the ones sold in Houston are supposed to have the neo wedge shape so basically it's plug and play...

Are there not any Houston, TX G owners in this forum?
