who in Texas actually has front license plate mounted on front bumper?

I get pulled over going through small towns. Only get a warning though. Got pulled over by one HPD & I told him instead of harrassing me about a plate, maybe he should be finding real criminals. He didn't know what to say. Caught him off guard.

Never have since babygurl was brand new back in 03'. Only gotten one tkt for that which got dismissed (i taped the plate for the cop to see at court) and then pulled it right off again..HA

try using suction cups and mounting it in the lower windshield on the passenger side - i have seen quite a few people do that and said they've had no issues.

i just dont even bother. and when i put it in the windshield it messes up my my auto setting for my headlights. the past two tickets ive gotten, the cop didnt mention it not being there

I used the Stillen kit that is for the Nissan Altima to mount ours in the front tow hook hole. I hated to pay that much for it but it has worked fine for almost a year now and looks great.

Stillen didnt list one for an '05 G35 sedan but by measuring, the Altima kit had the right threads. If screwed all the way into the tow hook hole it will touch the bumper but I have it a little from touching and it's plenty sturdy.

I can take a pic if wanted.

Eeeehhh....that could be left up to the interpretation of that police officer. The windshield isn't necessarily the front of the vehicle.

I just got pulled over yesterday and the state trooper gave me a warning. I got lucky, I guess.
