Oh ok cool...I should be there provided there isn't a bunch of work to do (i'm on-call) as well as some members from Strictly G's.
This is would be great to meet up with some ZCOH members...Ya'll are the reason we started our own group just for the G's.

Does it make a difference to just answer the question or dance around it?
I was going to go anyway. And the only reason why I asked is because Project 512, to me, was advertised as a show but it felt more like a meet on a race track.

Great! Brad and I are good friends. I should be out there on the 10th.
Ive notice your rant about 512 Project and im just curious as to what your looking for?
As to this topic that OP posted. It clearly states that this is a MEET @ Baker Jackson Nissan.
As OP said "join your fellow enthusiast"!

I might show up. Not sure yet! Car is at Jtran's & I doubt I will have it back and running by the time this event happens.

People drove from Dallas and Houston to go to the "show" and enter their cars into the "show" that had a registration fee. I'm just saying, that in the end... with all the effort put into that show, there wasn't an incentive for anyone who actually showed up to the event and paid an entrance fee with a photo of their fitment, other then a "stamp of approval" from those that put it together.
Again, not to take anything away for those that took the time and effort to make such a gathering of enthusiasts. There were good booths there, such as the Modular guys from Cali advertising their cup kits. It just seemed like there was no incentive to anyone going at all, other then some good photos and sweat stained clothes.
On top of that, the show is advertised as a "hellaflush" show and there were numerous rides there that were not even close to flush, just dumped... and that was it.
Basically, what I'm saying is that if you advertise something... then actually live up to it. This isn't attacking the OP by any means, just stating my frustration at Project 512 and noticing a the trend that has been happening with these meets / shows recently.
Edit: At the end of the day, it doesn't matter. This is just my opinion and will not affect my participation in supporting the scene or going to these meets / shows. I'll be there if I can finish some things on my car that I just started this week before then. If not, I'll just car pool with some people there and snap some photos.
