Problem with the car starting - battery die?

for the 3rd time in less than 2 weeks, my car doesnt want to start. Its almost as is the battery is dead, when i turn the key i dont hear click click click, like normally do when the battery is dead, but just no response at all. At first it seems fine, but the moment you go to crank you see all the lights dim as if it doesnt have power to start. Then when you go to turn the key again, nothing...dead, no battery power at all.

The first time it happened i rolled it out the garage and poped the cluitch in reverse, it started. Second time i was parked on the side of the house so i was able to push start it alot faster this time, it didnt start....but it kinda bogged to a stop in first, but the battery had gained enough power (somehow) to start the car normally. This third time was just now and on my oval drive way, went to garage the car for the night and same scenerio as before.... unlock...get in....key in ignition (lights turn on) crank it.....all lights dim (battery is drained)....and this time, not room to push start.

I ended up sitting there like 2 min thinking wtf to do, before all of a sudden the power was back, and all the dash and radio lit up (key was in ignition). I imidiatly started the car just in case.....

So my car is parked in the garage and im gonna take it in for service tomoro after classes. But what could this be? i dont think its the battery since that last time it happened, since the power came back suddenly, but a false contact somwhere in the car? Im scared they will blame this on my system....eventhough its not even connected atm, since the power cable fell out and i havent had time to reconnect it (its wrapped up and im sure its not touching anyhting).

Suggestions?

either your battery cables are loose or the battery has an internal short.

im having the same problem, got battery replaced and still does it. I'm pretty sure its a kill-switch issue with the clutch. Im goin in for service at infinity on next wednesday, ill let you know wth happened. oh, and it seems if you disengage the clutch, and the ebrake, then re-engage the clutch and ebrake, it starts... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
