hmmm...

Hi, I am kinda new to this forumn but I would like to thank you for providing a great site to us G35 drivers...

The link on the US warranty didn't work...so I guess to my undestanding...if one has an 03-04 Automatic G35 Sedan or Coupe that didn't reach 60K or more than 3 years...they can bring in their car to an Infinit dealer to have the break replace without any charges under the US break warranty ...am I getting this right or wrong..please advised...

I understand it's 3 years/36K for the front BRAKE warranty. (NON BREMBO). But it is only the 03-04 models.
My pads had 5mm left at 19Kmiles. (back in July). I have until Oct. 24 when I reach 3 years on my 04.
The dealer told me they will replace them if they have 3mm or less left on the pad. But he has seen them be a bit more generous than that. Rotors are covered too, either turning, or replacement if they can not be turned again.

2005 G35x

I'm bringing in my 2005 G35X today because there is some grinding noise coming from, what sounds like, the brakes. If I need a brake replacement at 17,000 km (approx 12,000 miles) I'm going to be really angry.

Infiniti is really short changing 2005 G35X owners by not covering them under some warranty for the brakes too.

I know .. what's with that? I think the X gets the same brakes as the 2003-2004 and so we should be covered under the same warranty. They turned my rotors at 1500 km because of some vibrations but that means my rotors are already worn substantially. That sucks!
