Dealership is charging me 600$ for the 60K maintenance. Can anyone advise me as to how important it is for me to get it done by the dealership b/c my warranty is over. Im thinkin of getting it done through an independent mechanic but my concerns are:

Isn't the drive train warranty 6/70,000 miles? Don't confuse with the general 4/60k warranty.
Time to hunker down and find something expensive for Nissan to replace.
