I have a 2004 G35 Coupe. Twice this summer on a hot day after work I started up my car. Before leaving the parking lot, I noticed a strange electrical failure.

The SLP and Traction control lights turned on and when the blinker was turned on the green arrow on the instrument panel wouldn't turn on.

Does anyone know of this strange problem? Is ther a TSB for some sort of software upgrade or computer glitch? Or do I have a more serious electrical problem?

 

i had the same problem twice but my tranny went out for a few seconds as well.... took it to dealership and they couldnt duplicate so off i went with a bs excuse to not have to fix it... it did go away on its own and hasnt happened again

 

i had a similar problem where the music was up loud then all the sudden the volume started dimming and scratching on a cd and the lights on every were flickering to the music dimming.. battery was checked and everything was good, probably a short tho..
