i didn't get the letter, but my dealer installed the caps when i went for my last service appt..

The tamper proof caps go over the adjustment screws behind the assembly. Unless you were familiar with how they looked before, you probably wouldn't even know.

Received a similar letter today. But mine included the changing of the audio and heater control module.

I received the letter yesterday. I wonder if the audio/heater fix is to address the issue of the center stack locking up and all the lights coming on. Mine did that about 3 months ago and I had to disconnect the battery to fix it. I didn't take it to the dealer since I figured that if I waited, Nissan would figure out the problem and do a fix.
It would be nice if they have also addressed the issue where the vents blow hot air on a 70 degree day. Any insights into what component they are swapping out?

Seems to be going to both, it may depend on when you bought your "G", they may not have gotten to your VIN number yet or yours may fall within the ones that already have the 'fixes' installed at the factory. Too bad they have not said when that cut off is.

When I went in for the 6 month oil change, the service manager notified me of the recall. Said that they we replacing one of the circuit boards, but couldn't give any more details than that.

Strange! I received a letter but only about the lack of the tamper-proof cap on the headlights. No mention of the other items mentioned in your letter. I don't plan to alter the adjustments and don't care enough to bother taking it back to the dealer until I need to. Since I don't use the dealer until I have to, it will be some time before I go back. I'm sure their computer will show I haven't done it yet and they will pop on the restricter cover whenever I show up.

Rimble's letter is the one for Canada. Yes, they'll just automatically install the cap on your next visit.
