Radio and Climate Control Electrical Problems???
Hey Everyone...I have a 2003 G35 Sedan and for the last year the radio and climate controls have been acting weird. The climate controls will raise to full fan and the temp will raise to 85 degrees without me touching anything. When this happens I won't be able to do anything with the radio controls either.
I won't be able to turn the radio off, turn the channel or lower the volume that raises on its own.
Has anyone else experienced this?
The auto body place I took it to today printed me out that there was/is an audio finisher circuit board voluntary service campaign and that your dealer will change this and that should fix the problem.
My dealer did it back in Feb 2010 and charged me and it is still screwed up.
Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks.

That is notorious in the 1st gen g35. This issue has been covered on this forum several times by several members here. Try the search button. Most of us had upgraded the head unit and went with a dual din finisher and a new ac controller. Imho it's worth it. You might find a used hu/ac here on the classified or ebay, but may not last. The labor to swap out yours won't be cheap. Go to a reputable car audio shop that's familiar with G35s. Good luck.
