Just don't make any sense to me and yeah, I would be mad to find this out later after getting my car, thats after I find out VLSD mean..hehe. Thank god I got the 6MT and don't have to worry about this issue. Good luck everybody.

That post on Fresh Alloy had some completely moronic posts... People need to ABSOLUTELY NOT let this go, go after them with everything you have and make them get it right. I can't believe the people who just lay down for these big corporations...
The same thing happend to me (and about 2000 other people I was in contact with) when Mitsubishi 4G63 motors from late 1995-1999 were "crankwalking" rendering the engine block completely useless. They offered me a small compensation in the form of free service or parts, but I refused and told them I would not be happy with anything short of a new motor... I constantly got "Just live with it" or "don't even bother" but I did bother and you know what, Mitsubishi replaced my motor in my Eclipse 3 times because it crankwalked... Why? because I refused to give in to their mistake, I refused to lay down and let them run over me because I wasn't some big high powered corporation like them!
GO AFTER THEM!! Don't quit! I didn't and it saved me the $4,000 each time tha motor needed replaced! (I sold the car after motor #3 went in) But the point is DON'T GIVE UP! No matter what these people say! You have a much better case than I did and you know what out of the 2,000 other people on my crank walk list I was probably 1 of maybe 100 that got their motors replaces and it was because I didn't lay down!
More power to everyone in this situation! GO GET'EM! IMHO it looks a lot like a "bait and switch" to me... Bait the person in with something that is not actually there then switch at the last minute...

No need to rush this by you accepting the "great" offer they are giving you.
It's to their benefit to get rid of us as quickly as possible.
It's up to you, do you care more about the option or the money.
Me personally, I'll take nothing less than what I payed for. They screwed up big time.

I assume you already bought the car???? If so, I think that is pretty good.
