Squeaking from back seat/trunk area HELP!!
hey guys so I have been away from the forums due to work but I have exhausted the search feature on the forum and still cannot figure out my problem so therefore here goes nothing...
Recently when driving about 45-50 mph I get a squeaking/creaking noise coming from the BACK seat area that's very noticeable going over bumps on the road but not present during slow turns and slow driving (thats where the front makes the cracking due to my compression rods)
There is also small creaks coming from the back window while cruising but the squeaking sounds more like its beyond the back seat almost like in the trunk. I have checked everything and am at the point of now removing my back seats and tightening the crossmember bolts as some people have reported this to be the issue. I will be on coilovers soon so if it is the springs and shocks that I can check once I get underneath...
any help is appreciated again i apologize if this has already been covered but i could not find my exact problem so what should I do first either remove rear door panels and seats and check all bolts?? or could it be the springs and shocks in the back??
(BTW i have the premium sedan with reclining seat feature in the back any ideas on how to go about removal or is it the same pulling the seat up and out ??) thanks...
