Car randomly dies and doesn't start

Hey guys. Over the last month or so my car completely lost power. 2 times I was sitting at a traffic light and 1 time i was on the highway coasting at 10mph in traffic. Also, the car likes to act like it's dead and doesn't start randomly. The temperature was mixed when it happened. Hot and normal. Today I replaced my battery and alternator because my voltmeter was reading 17v not running and 19v running. After I replaced those 2 parts I realized my voltmeter was wrong. It's at the normal voltage.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Also there was 1 day I noticed the red security light was solid red

Check out all the grounds, sounds like an intermittent fault.

Battery to chassis, under the coolant reservoir to the timing cover. Those are the ones I'd focus first. I would also check the positive side connections, battery-fusible link, wire to the starter. Usually when the engine just stalls for no apparent reason it's because it lost power, if it starts to idle all wierd and stumbles before stalling that's a different story.

Your NATS light being solid red after a stall shouldn't signify anything important, NATS is only for the initial START of the engine but once everything is running it doesn't have to send a constant signal or anything.

And yes, adding an 8AWG wire directly from the negative term on the battery over to the engine is definitely an improvement over the bonding system that Nissan chose for their vehicles.

the red light wasnt after a stall. Nothing strange happened the day I saw the red light.

Update.
car has a p0455 which explains why when I start it it sometimes starts normally and when the rpms drop to where they should be it falls on its face and dies. But that wouldn't explain why the car completely loses power

Very important update

Today the car did something very strange. I was stuck in traffic and I went to hit the gas and nothing. Car was running and everything. I put it in neutral and hit the gas and it would rev up normally. Put it back in drive and nothing. So I got on the should, turned it off and it wouldn't turn back on.

PLEASE HELP!

Sounds like ECU failure to me, have it towed to Nissan for a diagnostic. If it does have a bad ECU just swap it yourself in the parking lot and pay them to program it.
