Nissan Motor Company, Ltd. has determined that on some 2003 model year Infiniti G35 sedan vehicles, there is a possibility that the fuel hose connection from the fuel pump may not have been properly attached when the vehicle was produced and could come loose while driving or when starting the engine. If the connection comes loose while driving, the engine will stop running due to lack of fuel. If the engine stops running while driving, this could result in a crash. Also, if the connection comes loosewhile driving or attempting to start or restart the engine, some fuel will discharge from the fuel pump. If this should occur in the presence of an external ignition source, a fire could result. To prevent this condition from occurring, Infiniti is conducting a Voluntary Safety Recall Campaign to inspect and, if necessary, properly attach the fuel hose to the fuel pump.

In either case, failure of the newlyserviced A/T may result. It will be necessary to back flush the cooler through the Cooler Outlet in order to flush out any built up debris.[/list]
