Ok, so what does a reflash do? And how would you adjust the cam timing? If you do one, should you do the other? I know with an chip you can do all that stuff easily or maybe I'm wrong.

Reflashes basicly act like a firmware upgrade, some say that the ECU goes back to normal after a while, I'm not sure if it does I have never had a reflash. Chips are a kinda of replacement to the stock ECU that trick the stock ECU into doing what you want it to, same for piggy-back ECU suchs as HKS & Greddy & UTEC. Then you have fuel computers as well, such as Apexi SAFC, they mainly adjust the amount of fuel your car gets at different levels of your rpm band. Cam timing would be done while you are getting tuned.....

Reflashes don't revert back.

And who has been able to adjust the cam timing???

Btw instead of finding little things to nit pick about, why don't you explain in detail so I don't have to keep making these lil corrections everytime you have new input. Post up.........

Dealers can't void your warranty because they see mods, they can only void your warranty if that mod is the reason for whatever problem you happen to have, so if you are haveing the typical "axle click" and you take that in for warranty, then they see you intake. That means nothing, they have to fix the problem, now if you put a TT set up in and blow a hole in the mtor good luck with that one.

ACtually it's possible to adjust the cam timing on our engines depending on what engine you have though the VTC or VTCS. But it's not adjusting the way you are thinking. Also on VTEC honda engines, cam timing can be changed two ways. Adjustable cam gears and adjusting when the high cam comes online. But I'll let you detail that out for me. okay?

lok he's a e-thug.....you go bad boy.......I love it when someone asks for help, then you get guys like him to come on and start this kind of crap. I was trying to make this as simple as posssible, just like I stated in the bgining, you are the one trying to make it harder.

Actually they can deny warranty work because of mods. Doesn't mean it's right. Before you say "it's the law" think about it. Exactly what are you going to do if a dealer denies your warranty? Yes, you will end having to take them to court in order to get them to honor the warranty they just denied. A huge pain in the rear. Yes you can call Infiniti corporate. But they don't always help.

I wouldn't have to start any "crap" at all if the information you were spewing was correct in the first place. That is putting as nicely as I can. I mean some of your stuff was flat out incorrect. You can be simple. But you have to be CORRECT. Is that so hard?
