UpRev says that second car could be done but there would be some additional charge - not yet established.
2004.5+'s could have up to 5 maps switchable via the cruise control without losing cruise control. Maps are designed for your level of mods - based upon their experience in dyno tuning what's sounding like a fairly good number of 350Z owners who are positively chiming-in - hopefully factual.
Updates are free if your mods significantly change...at this point in time at least.
A tuner version (map editing tool and documentation) enabling you to self-adjust maps is being considered. The Cipher component of this product release allows you to monitor everything, and adjust some things now.
Surprised that the G35 drivers here aren't more interested!!!
This is sounding better every day..for those of us that are NA and not hard-core enough (laziness like me ) to swap ECU and dyno-tune.

At $700 is it still too expensive.
When you get a reflash, you can send TS your A/F maps and they can use that to give you a more accurate reflash. Still they are doing the work for you.
The only way I could see this breaking into the market, would be to split the costs up for multiple vehicles. (edit: the key is in the cable not software)
$700 = UpRev Flash tool
$695 = Techno Square reflash (coupe)
$695 = Altered Atmosphere reflash (coupe)
$700 = UTEC piggy back module

I think this will be big!
You might save $5 with the other two companies, but you have to take your ECU out and mail it to them! That's the deal breaker.
I think this will become the predominant method of flashing ECUs from predetermined data. It won't be as good as a real-time tune on a dyno, but it will be the next best thing!

My reasoning was, if you provide them (TS) with a dyno A/F they could adjust your flash accordingly.
John, If you email them, they said they will work out a deal for cipher owners. But the key is in the new cable, not the software.
They also said that you can tune up to (2) two VQ35DE engines with it. Also, you can datalog with cipher and email the information to them and they can send you an optimized map which you can reflash onto your ecu via the obdII port.
I like the ability to switch between maps with the cruise control, and still keep the cruise control ability.
Now, depending on what kind of discount you can get with an existing cipher tool, I might be willing to go half on the purchase since the license is for two vehicles. lol

It's a good question though about being able to send dyno results to UpRev. I bet that they would do same since you get a map or multiple maps for your specific configuration. Let's see if they will answer that question...

cc1012, my understanding is that, at this time, end-user can not edit maps, but this will hopefully change soon.
LMG_35C, where are you in NJ? UpRev said that they would provide free maps unless overwhelmed by requests. At this time I see no contest with other reflash types or any EMU on the market for NA G’s.
