That was before we fully supported FI though

The stock ECU is still in control most of the time unless you happen to drive around flat footed everywhere.

We work from initial cranking, to your RPM limit and everywhere in between. We can support (tested currently) up to 650whp on twin turbo cars with nothing more than Osiris and a modified MAF sensor. We do an exceptional job on NA and now we're just as capable in the FI world. We even work on completely stock cars for decent gains over stock.

intriguing...could you please quantify 'decent gains' ?

We don't give numbers. Every car is different and will net different gains. We can only adjust what needs to be adjusted, the big difference is each car gets it's own tune. We're the only company offering that and it is why we're the most enthusiastically endorsed by our customers.

It would be easy for me to say you're going to make "40hp with our tune" and then back it up with a dyno chart. The reality is that every car has different capabilities, we've never seen a 40hp gain on a stock N/A car ever, and it's just bad business to play those marketing tricks on customers.

What we have seen is that there is always a gain, either in smoothness of the curve, power increases, and because tuning has to do with efficiency there is always the possibility of better mpg. Ask for referrals from our customers, i'm certain they will tell you their experience.

^ uprev's osiris is great!

i don't even have to send in my ecu

z-tune is going to take care of everything for me!(ordering today)

go with uprev's osiris tune, it cant be beat when it comes to N/A tune!

also got a question for uprev, since im ording the osiris standard tune, how long does it take to ship the software after i e-mail you the specs?, once i get the software and after a couple weeks, i send my data back to you right? then how long does it take for the "fine tuning" to come in?

im also planing to get a full exhaust but it'll be a while for that probably january

how much will it cost to send in new data to "update" my tune?

1-2 days to process the order normally. Then it ships Fedex ground.

eTunes generally take 1-2 weeks for a return, you get three free eTunes so you should be good to go in January.

NA is expensive for minimal gains... which may spark another interrest in you to just keep saving and go FI (the UTEC can be used for that as well - and works great)!
+1 on the FI or bust thing. Just get a supercharger and call it a day. Don't get any other mods. Bolt ons will just bleed money. I wasted money on mine and wish Iwould've just gone straight to FI now.

If you plan on going FI later (trust me you will) then finding a tuner that can use the UTEC is going to be much easier than finding a tuner that can use the Osiris software or has rights for it. OR you could buy the Osiris tuner setup and any tuner you bring your car to can use it but then you don't get any of the tunes and support from osiris.

I haven't heard about pricing for anyone who has had their FI setup tuned by osiris so any conclusions for cost effectiveness kind of go out the door without that info. I do know that uprev used to charge $175 an hour for tuning but I don't know how many hours it might take them to tune an FI setup as of right now.

So really at the end of the day the true comparison is to go with UTEC w/ the TXS wideband setup OR Osiris Tuner w/ your stock widebands if you want to have the flexibility to upgrade to FI in the future.

Has anyone seen any results from the FI builds that Osiris has done?
