Folks, Im stuck out in the desert.... well Australia, and NO one can tune VQs out here. I currently have a 2003 V35 Auto and I have the base boost model Vortech Kit which came with the FMU, Fuel Pump, Split Second Box, Intercooler etc. I run about 7-8PSI at redline. I also have 3 to 1 headers, Borla Exhaust, Plenum Spacer etc.

My "pre Vortech" Dyno run brought in only 225 RWHP, and after the Vortech I only pulled 275 RWHP. So, basically only a 20% HP gain, which I thought is quite abysmal. My AFRs are off the charts rich... ie 10:1 - so I need some assistance with either recalibrating the FMU or editing of the split second box. However the Forced Induction HP graph was perfectly parallel to my NA graph, so the power curve is perfect (decent Split Second box standard safe tune). My best Qtr mile so far has been 13.8. Boohoo.

Would someone, for a fee, be confident enough to somehow remote control my laptop with the SplitSecond software and tune it whilst on the dyno? Im not sure if you can get any feedback from it or if you'd need to see our Dyno Monitor and AFR readout etc, but nothing a webcam or photo cant fix maybe. Im just happy to pay for someone with the experience with it.

Or, could you sell me a UTEC and tune that remotely as you can get logging from it? However I hear the G35 has different pinouts to the V35, so we might need some jigging, but im happy to spend the money. And if Utec is the way I should probably do injectors and fuel pump too yeah? Oh and a better PSI pulley

I know a guy who lives out in Perth and does the ABC news there! I've been meaning to visit Australia.

GL finding someone to do this. That sounds like a great idea to take advantage of the technology we've got and do a real time web tune. I know physicians do it a lot to get care to more rural areas here in the US.
